Engineering with Impact: Join us at the GEDC Industry Forum 2020 – 20th November, 2019

The next GEDC Industry Forum will take place from the 6th to 8th of July 2020 at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, McMaster University, the invitation-only, highly interactive event will build on the themes and initiatives developed to-date, tacking topics such as socially conscious engineering and ethics, diversity and inclusion, creativity and commercialising innovation with particular focus on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for Bucharest Industry Forum participants on Friday March 22 in the afternoon – 4th March, 2019

Delegates have the chance to explore the production facility of Arctic in Romania located in Ulmi Dâmboviţa County – a brand new, state of the art, fully digital and Industry 4.0 compliant factory that will have an initial production capacity of 1.1 million washing machines per year. This is the first fully Industry 4.0 compliant production facility in Romania, with an automation level of 70%, which is the highest in the Arçelik Group, one of the leading European White Goods and Household Appliances producers.
